#valhalla

Hello, you're probably here because you were kicked from #valhalla or you're just looking for more information. So, read this page, I promise I'll try to stick to the point, and we can get through this as painlessly as possible.

As you probably know, #valhalla is the official channel for the parent web site of www.conlangs.org. The channel came first, but the web site shortly after. You should see the web site for further informaton what it's for.

If you received this URL in a kick message, it's probably because you were kicked for not being a member, or you were not recognized as being a member of Conlangs.Org. You can receive the key from the Community page under Chat, it changes at an unpublicized interval.

The reason for this is that since Conlangs.Org is invite only, the channel should also have similar restrictions on it. If you are a member and have been kicked or you are not a member and wish to join, in your IRC client, simply type:

/knock #valhalla

This command will notify operators in the channel that you want in and one will contact you about joining or if you're a member and can show your membership, you will be given the key.

If you are given the key, to join a channel with a key, type: /join #valhalla KEY123
